About Flying BC

Almost by definition, aviation has always been about adventure.

From the early pioneers and bush pilots, to the student pilots overcoming personal doubt and fears. British Columbia is an awe-inspiring place to fly, offering many opportunities for adventures. Gravel bar rodeos, fly-out mountain biking, under-wing camping...your world changes when you learn to fly.

By sharing the magic of aviation through podcasts, photos, video, and events, Flying BC aims to open those doors and show just what can happen when ideas and airplanes come together.

Flying BC is a project of Formula Photographic Inc, hosted and Produced by Warwick Patterson. When I’m not working my day job as a Director and Cinematographer, I’m a private pilot slowly working on my Commercial and Instuctor rating. I’m a COPA Regional Director for BC and Yukon, and a Board member of the BC General Aviation Association (BCGA).
